NYX vs L.A. Colors Pt 1..Jumbo Eye Pencils

 Hello Beauty-holics!..Yes, I know..I've been m.i.a..that thing called 'life' has once again crept in..lol..but anyway, this review is all about Jumbo Eye Pencils..the HUGE Prang-like crayons in our makeup stash..and for those of you that do not have at least one of these, I strongly suggest that you invest in at least one of these jumbo wonders..so now, let's get down to the nitty-gritty about these cosmetic crayons...

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil

Shade: Milk

Price: $3.99

Where to buy: Online or local Beauty Supply Store

Pros: Can be used as a highlighter or an eye shadow base, easy to sharpen

Cons: None

Texture: Smooth, creamy and easily blendable

Longevity of Usage: A little goes a long way..I've had mine for the past 2 months daily and I've only used down less than 1 inch

L.A. Colors Jumbo Eye Pencil

Shade: Sea Shell

Price: $1.50-$2.00
Where to Buy: Family Dollar Stores or Dollar General Stores

Pros: Can be used as a highlighter or an eye shadow base

Cons: Can melt down and start to crease, due to high oil or wax content, pencil is VERY difficult to sharpen (look out for hard, flying shrapnel)

Texture: Smooth, creamy, easily blendable

Longevity of Usage: About 1 month or less with everyday usage

Splurge: NYX vs. Steal: L.A. Colors

My choice: NYX

I would definitely recommend NYX  Jumbo Eye Pencils, but if you are on a rather tight budget, then L.A. Colors will get you by..Until next time..
