Uses:
Coconut Oil is used in a wide variety of skincare, hair care & cosmetic
items and even though we can smell it in some of these products, this
particular type of oil has no scent so it will not irritate the skin or scalp
and doesn't interfere with your fragrance of choice. It is also non-greasy
so when it is applied to the hair/body, it sinks right into your skin without
the oil slick that can accompany some essential oils.
The reason for the 'non-oily residue' is due to the fact that this oil is '
Fractionated', meaning that it has been divided from it's original oil source,
leaving behind a completely saturated version without the fatty triglycerides
and thereby giving fractionated coconut oil an extremely long shelf-life
