L'oreal False Fiber Mascara vs. L'oreal Telescopic Mascara

 Hello Beauty Lovers!

Today is all about two of my many favorite mascaras in the whole wide world :D..Yes I have many lash partners but I chose to highlight these two today..L'oreal is one of my favorite cosmetic brands and featured here, are two of their best products that I am going to compare against each other..so here we go..

L'oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara
(Photo: Right)

Formula(s):

Waterproof and Non-Waterproof

Color(s):

Blackest Black, Black, Brown, Brownish Black

Pros: Makes lashes look false (thicker/longer) thanks to the fibers that encapsulate your lashes, long-wearing, non-flaking

Cons: Can be on the clumpy side with multiple coats, slightly ackward, BIG brush

L'oreal Telescopic Mascara
(Photo: Left)

Formula(s):

Waterproof and Non-Waterproof
Color(s):

Blackest Black, Black, Brown, Brownish Black

Pros: Makes lashes appear longer, smooth and clump-free formula, non-flaking, long-wearing, awesome brush enables you to get each & every lash coated

Cons: None really, except w/this mascara you get the lengthy look for your lashes & not the thicker, fuller look

Overall Assessment: Both are excellent mascaras except you just have to choose between the two, as to whether you want only length to your lashes OR do you want the False Lash effect for your lashes..it's totally up to you..

Winner of the Mascara Face-Off: Tied

I love them both, what more can I say except to try them both :)

Until next time Beauties..

Revlon vs. Revlon

Hello!,

Today it's alllll about eyeshadow quads..Ok, so this a rare event..I am pitting two products from the same cosmetics line against each other and things are really going to get interesting! I am a huge fan of Revlon Cosmetics and their eye shadows are some of the best around..so I took these two e/s quads, both are different formulas, tried them out and now..here's the skinny on them both..Here goes:

(Photo: Right)

Product #1: Revlon Colorstay E/S Quad

Color: #504 Inspired

Price: $7.00-$9.00

Where to buy: CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, or other drugstore/mass market retailer

Pros: extremely Long lasting, easy to apply, vibrant color, can be used wet or dry.

Cons: None, except a little goes a looong way so be careful how much you apply at one time.

(Photo: Left)
Product #2: Revlon PhotoReady E/S Quintet

Color: #501  Metropolitan

Price: $8.00-$11.00

Where to buy:  CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, or other drugstore/mass market retailer

Pros: Easy application, smooth

Cons: *The colors are NOT true to the way they look in their case! Application can be somewhat messy.

* Once the shadows have been applied to your eye, they take on a totally different shade..almost dreary and washed out and crappy! It makes your eyes look dirty..in a bad way..I mean forget the smolder/smokey eye..I'm talking about a mess..you will look like total mess around the eyes..Horrible..just horrible! smdhrrh --_-

So, MY choice is the Colorstay E/S Quad..better quality & versatility for less money, but if you beautyholics are very brave and wish to take on a real challenge by trying to work with the PhotoReady Quad, then by all means, indulge yourselves (you've been forewarned lol). I am very disappointed in Revlon as far as the PhotoReady line is concerned, especially in the eye shadows..

So, until next week people!..

Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeliner in NUDE

Hey there Beautyholics,

I've been missing you all..so here I am...Today it's all about my favorite nude eyeliner..yep, it's been a recently contagious trend and and darn good one & I will tell you why..Nude eyeliner gives the illusion of larger eyes and LONGER lashes!!..Yes! longer lashes..this eyeliner will make your lashes look waaay longer than they really are..and your eyes will have the appearance of being more open & larger..I just adore this liner..so here's all you need to know about it below....

Product:  Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Eyeliner (Photo: Right)

Cost: $3-$5

Where to Buy: Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, CVS or check at your favorite retailer..

Pros: Smooth texture, easily glides on and stays put but is also very workable, easy to sharpen and very little is needed so you will definitely have this product for a long time.

Cons: None

How to make your lashes look longer w/this product:

1. Line your entire waterline, top & bottom, BEFORE you apply your mascara..be sure to blink several times and keep your eyes closed 1 time, for about 6-10 seconds, just to give it a more natural look..Clean any excess product off of lashes, apply mascara & VOILA!!

I am Audi 5000 & I will see you again next week!
